Trying to keep up with my 3 year old is exhausting. He never stops moving – literally bouncing off the walls - from the moment he wakes up till he goes to sleep. And it makes me feel so inadequate. If I try to stop him we have a meltdown. I have tried tiring him out with active games and even a mini trampoline, but it just seems to make it worse. Are there any techniques I can use to create a bit more calm in my home?

Relaxation techniques for toddlers.

2. A “baby” massage
3. Soft music in a cool, dark room
4. A soothing video; a gentle story, fish in the sea
5. A relaxing story
6. Simple meditation with mummy ; lie down together in a cool dark room. Close your eyes and let’s go on a journey together in our minds. I see a lovely white beach… What do you see?
