|Before I was married I had an abortion. Is it important that
I tell my doctor?
It is vital that your doctor has your full medical history
in order to ensure that you get the best care possible during
your pregnancy. In general, abortions that are carried out
before 14 weeks do not seem to have much impact on subsequent
pregnancies. However if your abortion was carried out later
than 14 weeks, then there appears to be a greater possibility
of early labour. So make sure that you tell your doctor
the full story.
