  Sex – Is it ok?

Am I able to have sex during pregnancy?

If you have a normal pregnancy there is no medical reason to avoid sexual intercourse. Anyhow, if you have questions about physical complications, don’t hesitate to ask your doctor. Psychologically it is very individual. Many women dissociate sex and pregnancy. This is caused by a variety of reasons like hormones’ influence, changing moods, feeling uncomfortable or just reduced desire. However many women have more sexual desire than ever before. The most important aspect of this issue is to communicate with your partner, so that all the changes that are taking place do not put strain on your relationship.
